These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of www.emdebilling.com, operated by EMDE Billing & Transcription Agency ("EMDE", "we", "us"), Lahore, Pakistan. By using this website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms govern the website only. Services are provided under a separate written services agreement, which takes precedence over anything on this website in the event of a conflict.
2. The website is information, not advice
Content on this site — including descriptions of regulatory frameworks in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar — is provided for general information about our services. It is not legal, regulatory, financial, coding or clinical advice, and must not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice specific to your circumstances.
Healthcare regulation changes frequently. While we make reasonable efforts to keep regulatory references accurate and dated, we do not warrant that any statement on this site reflects the current position at the time you read it. Verify anything material against the relevant regulator before acting on it.
3. The cost estimator
The cost estimator on our FAQ page produces an indicative range calculated from the four answers you provide. It is not a quotation, not an offer, and not binding on EMDE or on you.
Actual pricing depends on factors the estimator does not capture — payer mix, specialty, claim complexity, dictation volume, turnaround requirements and the scope agreed. A binding price is given only in a written proposal.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use this site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
- introduce malicious code, or attempt to disrupt or overload the site;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or contact details from the site;
- submit false information, or another person's contact details without their permission;
- submit patient information or protected health information through any form on this website. Our web forms are for business enquiries only. Patient data is exchanged solely through secure channels established after a services agreement and, where applicable, a Business Associate Agreement are in place.
5. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, layout, graphics, the EMDE name and logo — is owned by EMDE or used under licence, and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own reference. You may not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit any part of the site without our prior written permission.
Third-party names and marks referenced on this site, including those of regulators and coding systems, belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively.
6. External links
Where we link to third-party websites, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EMDE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use this website, or from reliance on any content published on it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Our handling of personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes
We may revise these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This does not affect the governing law and dispute provisions of any separate services agreement, which apply to the services themselves.
